Have a donor-advised fund, or planning to set one up? You may be able to support NoHLA with a grant recommendation.
What is a Donor-Advised Fund?
A donor-advised fund (DAF) provides a simple, flexible, and tax-efficient way for you to transfer appreciated assets to support your favorite charitable causes -- now, or over time.
Donor-advised funds can be set up through a community foundation or your financial advisor. Once established, you can create a grant recommendation for NoHLA.
Your Impact
As donor-advisor of your DAF, you can recommend a grant for NoHLA. Your disbursed funds will go to work supporting NoHLA's advocacy, policy and legal strategies, and partnerships to build a more just and accessible health system. Meanwhile you can continue to grow your DAF and meet your personal philanthropic goals over time.
Your DAF can even stretch beyond your lifetime. Final distribution of contributions remaining in a DAF is governed by the contract you completed when you created the fund. Please consider naming Northwest Health Law Advocates (NoHLA) as successor of your account. Alternatively, you can name us as the successor for a portion of the account value, leaving the remaining portion for your heirs to distribute to charities of their choice.
