Spotlight: Natalie Reid, NoHLA Summer Intern

We welcome Natalie Reid to NoHLA this summer! Natalie is a second year student at Seattle University School of Law and is interested in health law and policy, consumer advocacy, and administrative law.

With one year of law school under her belt, Natalie is excited to put her new skills to use by pursuing her passion for health policy reform. Natalie has experienced two very different systems of health care after she and her family spent almost 10 years living under a single-payer system in New Zealand, and she believes the U.S. has a responsibility to develop a more just and effective health care system.

Natalie has been helping NoHLA by drafting comments on proposed changes to state regulations, updating our investigation of insurance companies’ compliance with the ACA contraceptive mandate, and other projects.
