Northwest Health Law Advocates Policy Analyst Lee Che Leong attended her first meeting as the newest member of the Health Equity Technical Advisory Committee (Health Equity TAC) of the Washington Health Benefit Exchange (HBE) on August 3rd. The Health Equity TAC members provide experience and professional perspectives related to health equity with a focus on language access, health literacy, hard-to-reach populations, cultural sensitivity, and other general access to coverage issues. 

Lee Che has been a key advocate in developing and championing efforts of the Health Equity for Immigrants Campaign for the past year.

The next Health Equity TAC meeting will be held on October 5, 2022.
