It’s the fifth week of the legislative session and things are moving quickly! This past Monday was the fiscal cutoff date, so anything requiring funding that did not pass out of the fiscal committee is now considered dead. Next Up: Watching for the Budget
NoHLA and others are now awaiting word on the Legislature’s supplemental budget. The deadline for legislators to submit their budget requests for consideration has passed. Now, we are looking toward the forecast produced by the Economic Revenue & Forecast Council, expected on February 14th.
