Finding Help in Washington State

  • AARP Health Law Guide – This guide will help you find resources tailored to your needs, whether it's about Medicare, health insurance coverage for you or your family, or public programs that may work for you. (Español)
  • CLEAR*online – People may use the online portal to: Submit an application 24/7 for legal assistance, conduct a preliminary screening for other types of legal problems, and find other resources related to a problem. Or call 211 in King County, or 1-888-201-1014 outside King County, (TTY 206-461-3610). CLEAR*Sr is available for those 60 years or older at 1-888-387-7111.
  • Columbia Legal Services – serves people whose access to free legal services is restricted, due to institutionalized or immigration status.
  • Within Reach Family Health Hotline: 1-800-322-2588
  • Health care resources for people experiencing homelessness or who are under/not insured.
  • King County Bar Association – Volunteer legal services to low-income residents of King County, Washington. Also provides lawyer referrals.
  • Legal self-help materials and tools –Washington Law Help.
  • Northwest Justice Project – Information about legal rights for residents of Washington State.
  • Solid Ground – Provides information and referral, advice and direct legal representation to individuals who have had their state public assistance benefits reduced, terminated, or denied.
