Our daylong webinar, “Advancing Patient Rights for a New Era,” will explore the persistent issues and concerns that make it difficult to access health care, especially for disadvantaged groups. Speakers will address medical models for improving equity in health care; protecting patient privacy rights; ensuring managed care organizations provide meaningful access to care for Medicaid enrollees; and addressing the escalating costs of health care. The webinar also features a panel of Washington state agency leaders discussing administrative and legislative developments that affect health policy as it affects Washington residents.
