Health care since the pandemic:
New opportunities for achieving equity
A full day virtual Seminar and Continuing Legal Education event
Sponsored by Northwest Health Law Advocates
Friday, October 22, 2021
As the pandemic continues to further exacerbate inequities throughout society, policymakers are seeking to address health care needs with the goal of achieving equity. A meaningful recovery includes action to address the shocking demographic disparities that disproportionately burden communities of color, our elders, immigrants, and the other communities that have experienced systemic exclusion.
We invite you to join our virtual seminar to learn the latest from advocates, Washington agency leaders, and other experts. Presentations address new sources of inequity for immigrants and others seeking health care through public programs, pandemic-related and other policy changes underway in Washington and at the federal level, recent litigation developments, and ethics in healthcare decision making.
