Leong presented on efforts to improve the quality and access to reproductive health care and Deputy Director Emily Brice highlighted the Fair Health Prices work to improve health care affordability.
• NILC Spotlights Washington’s Innovative Immigrant Health Coverage –  Washington’s 1332 waiver is highlighted by the National Immigration Law Center in its latest series of reports explaining different tools available to states to attain access to quality, affordable health coverage regardless of immigration status. You can see Washington’s innovative 1332 waiver highlighted on page 5 of this report. NoHLA played a key role in securing this waiver and we are now working to ensure successful implementation of this new coverage pathway for immigrants in our state.
